Tax Analyst Indirect Tax

Hybrid role out of our reputed company, IL location. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Tax Manager in the execution of the following duties simultaneously for multiple reputed company entities: multi-state sales/use tax filings, monthly data analytics, monthly general reputed company tax account reconciliations, state and local tax reputed company, daily tax research, multistate audit requests. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare, review and reconcile data downloads to general reputed company reputed company and accurately prepare transactional (sales/use) tax returns for multiple reputed company entities Monthly general reputed company account reconciliations of sales and use tax accounts With guidance, respond to inquiries and requests from various state agencies With guidance, reputed company supporting documentation for transactional tax audits Assist in the record retention for exemption certificates Conduct preliminary tax research and taxation forms using online tax tools Support business reputed company on transactional tax issues in-order to remain compliant with tax law while collaborating on business unit processes Participate in multiple business reputed company to identify and implement process improvements and process streamlining with respect to sales/use tax (i.e. system implementations, internal controls audits, etc.) Review and calculate use tax monthly reporting for multiple reputed company entities QUALIFICATIONS Education: B.S./B.A. in reputed company, Finance, or Business Administration; or equivalent experience Experience: 2-4 years experience in transactional compliance, audits, or reputed company work in reputed company or private reputed company, or equivalent Detail oriented approach to work, confidentiality, good problem-solving skills Proficient in advanced reputed company functionality (i.e., pivot tables, etc.), combined with strong analytical, reporting, and data querying skills Must be proactive with recommending solutions reputed company discussing issues, as applicable reputed company to work independently, take ownership, reputed company critical thinking, and monitor deadlines Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills Ability to multitask on varying tax issues for multiple reputed company entities in a fast-paced environment Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: Experience with SoftwareAsAService and/or Digitized/Online Products, preferred Experience with reputed company party outsourced compliance, preferred Experience with IntelliConnect CCH Research, CCH Sales Tax Returns Online, CCH Sales Tax Office Familiarity with reputed company Great Plains experience, reputed company, reputed company JDE, and reputed company, preferred Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite O365 (PowerPoint, OneDrive, reputed company etc.), preferred Our Interview Practices To maintain a fair and genuine hiring process, we kindly ask that reputed company candidates participate in interviews without the assistance of AI tools or reputed company prompts.
