General Manager Project Manager (Mobile Diagnostics Operations)- IVD Client of TBHR Consultants Location: Vizag (Factory-based) Reporting Level: COO Function: Project Management / Techno-Commercial Operations About the Role We are looking for a seasoned techno-commercial leader to head end-to-end project operations for our mobile/on-site diagnostics program run out of Vizag. This is a high-visibility GM role that sits at the intersection of service delivery, supply chain, and customer relationship management ideal for a professional who has run field operations for diagnostic equipment, point-of-care testing programs or medical device fleets and is ready to own full P&L-adjacent accountability for a large-scale project. If you've worked in the in-vitro diagnostics (IVD), pathology or medical device services ecosystem and understand the discipline required to keep reagents, spares and field engineers moving in sync this role is built for you. What You'll Own Service Delivery & Fleet Operations Monitor and ensure prompt daily service delivery across the project's ambulance fleet and all customer sitesAct as the single point of accountability for uptime and turnaround on field service issues Reagent & Supply Chain Management Ensure timely ordering of reagents from Head Office to prevent stock-outsGuarantee timely, uninterrupted supply of reagents and spares to every site Spares & Inventory Accountability Take full ownership of spares inventory tracking, reconciliation, and prompt return of defective parts to HOManage local stocking of spares at Vizag, with dispatch to sites via local courier networksOversee low-value spares stocked in mobile vans and at customer locations, secured under lock and key with field engineers Customer & Breakdown Management Coordinate closely with customer teams to ensure spares reach breakdown sites within a strict 412 hour windowServe as the senior escalation point commanding customer confidence and trust at the GM level Commercial Ownership Drive timely collection of payments from the customer, maintaining commercial discipline alongside operational delivery What We're Looking For Qualification: BE (any discipline) + MBAExperience: Senior techno-commercial professional with a strong background in field service, project operations, or supply chain ideally within IVD, diagnostics, healthcare equipment or medical device servicesAge: 40sPresence: Strong executive presence with the gravitas to command respect from customers at the GM levelLanguage: Working knowledge of Telugu (native fluency not required) Why This Role A rare GM-level mandate with true end-to-end ownership service, supply chain, inventory and commercial collections all under one seatDirect customer-facing authority and decision-making powerHigh-impact, mission-critical operation supporting a diagnostics program that directly affects patient care delivery .
