Role Description The Social Media and Community Building Intern will support the growth and engagement of Samatva Communitys audience across various social platforms. This internship role is on-site and based in New Delhi, where the intern will collaborate with the team to plan and execute social media campaigns, create posts, and respond to comments and messages. Day-to-day tasks include drafting content, scheduling posts, capturing and curating photos or short videos during events, and monitoring basic performance metrics. The intern will also assist in organizing on-site community activities, engaging with participants, gathering feedback, and helping to maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment. This role offers hands-on experience in social media management, grassroots community building, and event support. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate content.Candidates should possess basic social media skills, including familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and the ability to post, manage, and track engagement.Candidates should possess community engagement abilities, including comfort interacting with diverse groups, listening actively, and supporting on-site events and activities.Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow through on responsibilities.Candidates should possess a learning mindset, openness to feedback, and interest in community building, social impact, mindfulness, or personal development.Enrollment in or completion of a degree in communications, social sciences, marketing, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.Basic familiarity with design or content tools (such as Canva or similar platforms) is an advantage. .
