Division-Location: EPD-Baddi Department: Operational Excellence Designation: Senior Manager Grade/Band: 3B Reporting to: Plant Director Qualification: B.Tech. Experience (as on date): 18 Years Core Job Responsibilities Facilitate deployment of Operational Excellence Program across the site including ODF, LVP and new hormone block. Create Daily Management System Design and structure for the site and ensure adherence to OMS through a robust OMS health-check process. Align KRA's in line with business vision, mission, and plant KRA's and facilitate development of individual KRA's. Lead continuous improvement projects with a focus on waste elimination to improve quality, yields, reduce cycle times, cost, and achieve customer satisfaction. Build capability and culture to enable business priorities and EPD strategy: ZERO Loss mindset on Safety, Quality, Material, Energy, and resources through creative sustained engagement program. Provide focused and prioritized trainings with proper business need identification on SMED, DFMEA, PFMEA, Green Belt, Yellow Belt, and White Belt etc. Launch Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Pillars in key blocks and manage TPM progression as per the agreed glidepath. Benchmark metrics and processes, action planning and tracking to make the site #1; teach, influence and motivate staff to apply Lean Six Sigma tools as a problem-solving approach. Track and report projected benefits; create an open environment for learning and facilitate business excellence by mentoring Green Belts and advocates for Lean Sigma projects. Establish a network with other sites and functions to exchange knowledge and best practices both internally and externally. Cultivate continuous improvement culture in the plant. Lead and support excellence projects at the site. Work on business problems that are complex and diverse in scope, including larger project sizes, multiple functions, and/or new technologies. Report balanced scorecard results monthly to the site and provide metrics results. Mentor and consult other Lean professionals on successful completion of projects and objectives. Oversee Six Sigma certification training activity for plant operations and network with EPO global sites for implementation of best practices. Take a stand and influence key stakeholders to prioritize rightfit Bex initiatives for the factory. Qualifications and Desired Skills Technically sound professional with Black Belt/Master Black Belt in Lean/Six Sigma and an Engineering Degree. Experience in manufacturing/engineering/TPM is a must. Shopfloor experience in unionized factories is a must. Must have worked in a highpace and complex factory environment. Ability to get things done with speed and agility. Cando attitude and willingness to win. People agility and strong influencing skills without using power. Willingness to relocate and scalability to take up other roles in the factory. Proven track record of coaching team members at all levels. Strong analytical skills using logic and data analytics. Ability to deep dive fast and transform data to insights. .
