Profile Hiring for: Analyst: Engagement & Growth Location: Bangalore Whom are we looking for A sharp business graduate with 2 to 3 years of exposure to the startup or VC ecosystem, joining as part of the Founders office. You will sit at the intersection of client engagement and business growth. You should be equally comfortable writing a crisp update for a fund partner and putting together an accurate monthly numbers pack. What will be your key responsibilities VC Relationship ManagementBuild, own, and strengthen relationships with VC funds, family offices and angel networks.Conduct regular in-person meetings with the above parties to understand their investment thesis, sector preferences, cheque sizes, stage focus, and current deployment priorities.Maintain a live database of recent investments, active mandates, and key decision-makers.Build a high-quality pipeline of investment opportunities for VC partners by curating and sharing vetted startups aligned with their investment mandate.Position Treelife as the preferred ecosystem partner for portfolio support across legal, finance, tax, compliance, HR, and strategic advisory services. Portfolio EngagementDevelop and execute engagement initiatives for VC portfolios through newsletters, ecosystem updates, regulatory explainers, webinars, and curated knowledge content.Identify fundraising opportunities within Treelife's existing client base by engaging founders, understanding business performance, runway, fundraising timelines, and capital requirements. Outbound Founder Acquisition and Ecosystem DevelopmentProactively scout high-potential startups through ecosystem events, founder communities, accelerators, incubators, LinkedIn, referrals, and market research.Represent Treelife at startup conferences, demo days, VC summits, accelerator programs, founder meetups, and networking events.Set-up Partner meetings with founders to understand their growth plans, financial runway, fundraising intentions, and advisory needs. Business reportingPrepare and maintain reports on departmental P&L, revenue and wallet size per client for monthly reviewsHighlight expansion opportunities and flag accounts where share of wallet is shrinking, for the leadership team to act on Internal coordinationWork with practice teams to source content inputs and convert their technical work into client-facing materialSupport the founders office on growth experiments and account planning inputs What are the key requirements for the role Graduate or postgraduate in business, commerce, economics or a related field2 to 3 years of experience, with demonstrated interest in the startup or VC ecosystem (fund work, founder office stints, ecosystem communities or startup operating roles all count)Strong writing skills: you can turn a technical input into something a founder or fund partner will actually readComfort with numbers: Excel or Sheets fluency, and the discipline to keep reports accurateBias for ownership of your work; this role has no playbook yet and you will help write itHighly organized. You close loops. You follow up. You do not drop thingsExposure to startup, legal, financial services, or professional services environments is a plusComfortable working in a fast-moving, lean team where you will build process, not just follow it .
