Job Purpose The objective of the Area Sales Manager - Sales - SME is to provide effective leadership and strategic direction to the sales, collection, and operations teams within the region. This role entails achieving incremental growth in the book size, maintaining the portfolio's health, building alternate sourcing channels, guiding the team to meet business targets, ensuring team productivity, and overseeing the sales process. Main Accountabilities Sales and Team Leadership: - Lead and manage the sales, collection, and operations teams in the region. - Provide strategic guidance and set transparent targets for the team. Target Achievement - Drive incremental growth in the book size while maintaining the health of the portfolio. - Ensure that sales and collection targets are met or exceeded. Sourcing Tie-Ups: - Establish partnerships with relevant sourcing agents and build alternate sourcing channels. - Expand the network to identify new business opportunities. Team Guidance: - Provide guidance and support to the team to achieve business objectives. - Foster a culture of high performance and accountability. Sales Process Monitoring: - Monitor the effectiveness of the sales process and make necessary improvements. - Implement best practices to streamline sales operations. Fee Income and Process Management: - Focus on fee income generation and cost-effective process management. - Optimize revenue streams while ensuring operational efficiency. Training and Technical Expertise: - Train and provide technical expertise to Relationship Managers and Field Sales Staff on various financial products. - Ensure the team is well-equipped to meet customer needs. Product Customization: - Coordinate with the corporate team to customize products as per specific regional requirements. - Ensure that products are tailored to meet local market demands. Cross-Selling: - Implement cross-selling strategies to maximize product penetration within the portfolio. - Identify opportunities to promote related products and services. Nil NPA Portfolio: - Maintain a Nil NPA portfolio by actively monitoring and managing credit risks. - Implement effective risk mitigation measures. Qualification : Post Graduate/Graduate in any discipline .
