Role Description The Accountancy and Economics Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IGCSE/CBSE curriculum for secondary and senior secondary learners. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching core concepts in accountancy and economics, assessing student performance through assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback to support academic growth. The teacher will maintain accurate records, participate in departmental meetings, collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, and engage with parents or guardians regarding student progress. The role also includes contributing to co-curricular activities and fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Aurangabad. Qualifications Strong subject-matter expertise in Accountancy and Economics, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accurately.Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and assessment strategies, ideally within the CIE or similar international framework.Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive, student-centered learning environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, colleagues, and families.Comfort with using educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce, Economics, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is an advantage.Prior teaching experience in Accountancy and Economics, preferably at secondary or senior secondary level; experience with international curricula is highly beneficial.Commitment to continuous professional development, reflective practice, and upholding high academic and ethical standards. .
