## QC Lead - Manual ### Role Overview NauticalInfo Solutions is seeking an experienced QC Lead - Manual to join their quality assurance team in Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for leading manual testing efforts across software products and projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with development, business analysis, and project management teams to define testing strategies, mentor QA team members, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes. ### Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage the manual QA team, assigning tasks, reviewing work, and providing guidance and mentorship - Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements - Oversee end-to-end manual testing activities including functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing - Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution - Define and enforce QA processes, standards, and best practices across projects - Coordinate and participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and design discussions to ensure testability - Prepare and present detailed QA status reports, metrics, and test summary reports to stakeholders - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth release cycles and on-time delivery - Continuously evaluate and improve the existing QA methodologies and frameworks - Act as the primary QA point of contact for project stakeholders ### Requirements & Qualifications - Between 5 and 10 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing with at least a portion of that in a lead or senior QA role - Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies, test lifecycle management, and QA best practices - Proficiency in writing detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports - Experience with defect tracking and project management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar - Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies - Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, or enterprise software - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines - Experience with API testing tools such as Postman is an advantage - Knowledge of basic SQL for database validation is preferred - Any relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus ### About the Company NauticalInfo Solutions is a technology solutions company focused on delivering innovative software products and IT services to clients across various industries.
