Location - Bellandur, Bengaluru, About the Role We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our Pre-Sales Solutions team. In this role, you will work closely with sales, solutions architects, and clients to design and present compelling automation testing strategies that address client needs and demonstrate the value of our testing solutions. Key Responsibilities Pre-Sales Engagement - Partner with sales and solutions architects to understand client requirements and pain points during discovery calls and workshops. - Develop tailored test automation proposals, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and demos that align with client technical environments. - Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs related to test automation frameworks and quality engineering. Solution Design & Architecture - Design scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks using industry-leading tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.). - Recommend appropriate automation strategies functional, regression, API, performance, and mobile testing based on client needs. - Define toolchain integrations including CI/CD pipelines, test management platforms, and reporting dashboards. Client-Facing Activities - Conduct technical presentations, live demos, and workshops for prospective clients, including C-suite and technical stakeholders. - Articulate ROI and business value of test automation adoption, including metrics like defect reduction, release velocity, and cost savings. - Build trust as a subject matter expert (SME) in QA and test automation. Proposal & Documentation - Craft detailed solution documents, effort estimates, and implementation roadmaps. - Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, accurate, and deliverable. - Maintain a library of reusable proposal assets, demo environments, and reference architectures. Required Qualifications - 6+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation. - Hands-on expertise with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, or Appium. - Proficiency in at least one programming language Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. - Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). - Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices. - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, or client-facing technical role. - Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, LambdaTest). - Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6). - Experience with AI/ML-driven test automation tools. - ISTQB or similar QA certifications. - Understanding of enterprise software delivery in domains such as BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, or Telecom.
