Revit Modeler, Data Center Infrastructure (Chennai)

Position Summary: Drafter with solid Revit (BIM) expertise to support the design and development of data center cooling systems. The role focuses on creating 3D models, layouts, and engineering drawings for HVAC and liquid cooling infrastructure sub-assemblies, sectional details, full fabrication, and installation drawings. Essential Functions: 1. Create 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Revit 2. Develop layouts for CRAC/CRAH units, in-row cooling, chillers, CDU, and piping systems 3. Generate GA drawings, detailed engineering drawings, and P&IDs; 4. Develop and manage Revit families 5. Perform BIM coordination and clash detection 6. Support BOM extraction and engineering documentation Qualifications & Experience: 1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / HVAC 2. 38 years of experience in HVAC drafting or mechanical layouts Preferred Background: 1. Data center cooling systems (CDU, CRAC, AHU) 2. Liquid cooling knowledge Key Skills: 1. HVAC layouts and piping knowledge 2. Autodesk Revit (must-have) 3. AutoCAD 4. Inventor 5. Navisworks (clash detection) 6. Ability to prepare BOMs .
