Role Description The Associate role at AA Law Chamber is a full-time, on-site position based in Raipur. The Associate will assist in drafting pleadings, contracts, opinions, and other legal documents, and will conduct in-depth legal research on statutes, case law, and regulatory developments. Day-to-day tasks include preparing case notes, organizing evidence, coordinating with clients for information and updates, and supporting senior counsel in court preparation and hearings. The role involves attending court proceedings as required, maintaining case files and timelines, and contributing to strategy discussions to support effective client representation. The Associate is expected to work collaboratively within the team while managing individual responsibilities with professionalism and attention to detail. Qualifications Law degree (LL.B or equivalent) from a recognized institution and eligibility to practice law as per applicable regulations.Strong legal research and analytical abilities, including familiarity with case law databases, statutory interpretation, and drafting of legal opinions.Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents such as pleadings, petitions, affidavits, contracts, and correspondence.Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or local languages in Chhattisgarh is an advantage.Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, maintain accurate documentation, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Professional integrity, discretion, and commitment to client confidentiality and ethical practice.Willingness to appear in court, coordinate with clients and external stakeholders, and work on-site in Raipur on a regular basis.Prior internship or work experience in litigation or corporate law is beneficial but not mandatory for motivated early-career candidates. .
