Company Description Dist. and Session Court Raipur is a key judicial institution serving the Raipur district, handling civil and criminal matters in accordance with the laws and procedures of the judiciary. The court supports fair, transparent, and timely administration of justice for individuals, businesses, and public entities. Staff members work within a structured legal environment, following established protocols and ethical standards. The court provides opportunities for legal and administrative professionals to contribute directly to the functioning of the justice system and public service. Role Description The Law Secretary is a full-time, on-site role based at Dist. and Session Court Raipur. The role involves preparing, formatting, and organizing legal documents, including petitions, orders, case files, and correspondence, in accordance with court procedures. The Law Secretary maintains case diaries, schedules hearings, tracks deadlines, and supports case management activities for judicial officers. Daily tasks include handling clerical work such as filing, record-keeping, data entry, and document retrieval, as well as coordinating with legal assistants, advocates, and court staff. The role requires adherence to confidentiality, accuracy in documentation, and timely completion of administrative duties to support efficient court operations. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law and familiarity with court procedures and legal terminology.Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and reviewing case-related documents.Experience working as Legal Assistants or in similar legal administrative roles.Reliable Clerical Skills, including typing, filing, record management, and use of office software.Effective Diary Management skills for scheduling, tracking case progress, and managing deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and relevant local languages.Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks under time constraints.Integrity, discretion, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all court matters.Relevant diploma or degree in law or a related field; prior experience in a court or legal office is an advantage. .
