What you will do You will join tesas Digital & IT organization and play a key role in shaping a scalable, high-quality global Master data governance landscape. In this role, you will design, configure, and develop SAP MDG solutions while working closely with business stakeholders to ensure high data quality and effective governance processes that support tesas digital ambitions. We are looking for an experienced SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Consultant with a strong mix of functional consulting and handson development skills. This position is ideal for a hybrid SAP MDG professional who can translate business requirements into robust functional designs and implement them technically. What you will need Key Responsibilities Design and implement SAP MDG solutions across relevant master data domains Analyze business requirements and translate them into MDG functional concepts and technical implementations Configure MDG data models, change requests, workflows, validations, and derivations Develop MDG enhancements using ABAP / ABAP OO (BAdIs, custom logic, UI adjustments) Support integration of SAP MDG with S/4HANA and connected systems Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams Support testing, documentation, and golive activities. Oversee creation and maintenance of automated test cases. Run and monitor automated test cycles, defects, and followup. Maintain clear oversight of the automation portfolio. Key Skills & Expertise Minimum Requirements 5+ years experience in SAP MDG (Material, BP and finance) with S/4HANA Handson functional consulting experience (process design, configuration, governance concepts) Handson development experience in SAP MDG (ABAP, enhancements, BAdIs) Experience with: MDG data modeling (standard + extension) UI Configuration Rulebased workflows Change Request processing & governance Validations and Derivations ABAP / ABAP OO CDS Views and APIbased integration or Odata DQM DRF (IDoc / SOA) Mass Processing and Consolidation Field Properties Strong understanding of master data governance and data quality principles Good communication skills and ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders Excellent communication, facilitation, and consulting skills. High level of ownership, assertiveness, and a driver for continuous improvement. Degree in computer science, IT, business informatics, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Fiori / MDG UI / UI5 / Webdynpro Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) in MDG or integration scenarios Knowledge of BRF+ or DQM, Rulebased workflows, or complex integration scenarios Experience in international or global template environments What you can expect tesa is one of the world's leading manufacturers of adhesive tape solutions, with a range of more than 7,000 products.
