Role Description The Vice President of Project Development is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This position oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of web, digital marketing, and AI integration projects, from initial scoping and feasibility analysis through delivery and post-launch optimization. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading project teams, aligning project plans with client requirements, setting timelines and budgets, and ensuring high-quality execution across multiple concurrent initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with sales and business development to evaluate opportunities, perform due diligence, and translate client needs into actionable project roadmaps. The Vice President of Project Development also negotiates key contracts, manages stakeholder expectations, monitors project performance metrics, and drives continuous improvement in processes, tools, and methodologies. Qualifications Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and cross-functional team leadership.Experience in due diligence and feasibility assessment for complex digital, web, or AI-driven initiatives.Proficiency in budgeting and financial oversight for multi-phase projects and portfolios.Demonstrated success in contract negotiation and vendor or partner relationship management.Business development capabilities, including opportunity assessment, proposal development, and client relationship management.Proven leadership experience in web development, digital solutions, or technology services organizations.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.Ability to work on-site in the Kolkata metropolitan area and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.Bachelors or masters degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.Experience with AI integration, digital marketing, or e-commerce platforms is highly beneficial. .
