Tenable Security Center Specialist (Mumbai)

job summary We are looking for an experienced Tenable Security Center (Tenable.SC) Specialist to join our Cyber Security team. The ideal candidate will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the organization's Tenable Security Center platform, managing its architecture, configuration, optimization, integrations, and automation. The candidate will also provide technical leadership, support vulnerability management initiatives, and mentor L1/L2 teams. Key Responsibilities 1. Administer and manage Tenable Security Center (Tenable.SC), Nessus Manager, and Nessus Agents. 2. Perform platform patching, upgrades, migrations, plugin management, and scanner deployment. 3. Troubleshoot and resolve Tenable.SC platform issues. 4. Ensure regular backups and successful restoration testing to maintain high availability. 5. Design, configure, and optimize vulnerability scan policies based on business, compliance, and regulatory requirements. 6. Work closely with Windows, Linux, Network, Database, Middleware, Security Device, and Firewall teams to support scanning requirements. 7. Develop and maintain custom reporting scripts using Python. 8. Integrate Tenable.SC with enterprise tools such as ServiceNow, CyberArk, Ansible, and Active Directory. 9.Automate vulnerability management workflows using APIs, Python, and PowerShell. 10. Analyse vulnerabilities using CVE, CVSS, exploitability, and risk-based prioritisation. 11. Provide remediation guidance for critical and high-risk vulnerabilities. 12. Support vulnerability management activities during weekends when required. 13. Mentor junior team members and participate in vulnerability risk discussions with leadership.
