Skills and Requirement: - Graduate/ Diploma in Mass Communication with Sound/ Audio Engineering specialization having a technical bent of mind. - Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering background preferred but is not an absolute necessity. - The candidate can be a fresher from a known Audio Engineering institute or a candidate with an experience of 1 to 2 years in Pro Audio Technical Domain in any capacity sound engineer, Technical Support Engineer etc. - Basic Exposure to Music & Audio Post Production related workflows or will be an added advantage. Basics of Pro Audio technologies such as microphones, audio monitors, audio chain, audio processing etc. is mandatory. - Basic exposure to Mac and Windows platforms expected. - Exposure to and basic knowledge of networking is necessary in order to upgrade later to networking related audio workflows such as AOIP (Audio over Internet Protocol) - Should be familiar with contemporary trends in the AV industry such as audio codecs, containers, audio resolutions, surround formats, digital & analog workflows, new media audio streaming formats & compression etc. - Any exposure to basic sales/ marketing will be an added advantage. - Good communication skills in English (written & spoken) and Hindi is desired. Responsibilities of the role include: - Prime responsibility will be to understand technical and budgetary needs of the end user/ project, design an application based solution, installation, testing and commissioning, post sales technical support, monitoring & upgrading system/s as and when necessary. - Provide End User with Product Training & basic troubleshooting training. - Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, must be a self-motivated self-starter who can understand and troubleshoot technical issues/ glitches in a holistic manner and provide prompt and stable solution. Keep abreast with latest application based system qualifications. - Raise relevant technical support cases with principal company support team for escalated support issues. - Assist the sales team to make technically correct and ratified Bill of Materials (BOM) to prepare proposals. - Stay constantly updated technically with the portfolio of Products assigned, as well as keep self-updated with competition. Also will be required to familiarise with other Products represented by Real Image Media Solutions - Periodically keep the Sales team updated on new developments in assigned Products. - Talk to existing and new audio customers to get non-comprehensive AMC for audio services. - Be an effective team player willing to reach out and assist other team members in crisis situations across different regions. - Maintain updated detail of systems and software installed at customer sites across regions. - File and submit periodical call sheets, expenses to reporting officer in time. - Based out of Mumbai. However, will need to travel as and when necessary for support activities, installation etc. .
