Role & responsibilities We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 24 years of experience in Linux server administration, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD automation. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure while ensuring smooth deployments and high availability of production applications. Preferred candidate profile - 24 years of experience in Linux server administration (Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL). - Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Deployments, Services, Ingress, Helm, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Persistent Volumes). - Experience with cloud platforms such as DigitalOcean, AWS. - Experience managing web servers (Nginx, Apache), PHP-FPM, SSL certificates, DNS, and reverse proxies. - Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools. - Positive understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, DNS). - Experience with Git and Linux shell scripting (Bash). - Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL administration, backups, and performance tuning. - Familiarity with Redis and WebSocket-based applications. - Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Preferred Skills (Good to Have) - Experience with DigitalOcean Kubernetes (DOKS), Spaces, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and Managed Databases. - Experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka. - Familiarity with Cloudflare or CDN services. - Knowledge of high availability, auto-scaling, disaster recovery, and zero-downtime deployments. - Experience deploying PHP, Python applications in production. Responsibilities - Deploy, manage, and maintain Linux servers and Kubernetes clusters. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. - Configure and manage web servers, SSL, DNS, load balancers, and cloud infrastructure. - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues. - Automate deployment and operational tasks using scripting and DevOps tools. - Manage backups, security updates, and infrastructure reliability. - Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and application performance. - Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.
