The role demands a visionary leader with exceptional concept development skills, a deep understanding of event and set design, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary creative teams across 2D design, 3D visualization, motion graphics, video, AI-assisted design, and creative production. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on industry expertise, ensuring every concept is innovative, technically feasible, and executed to the highest standards. This role is responsible for building a culture of creativity, mentoring the design team, driving innovation, and delivering world-class experiences from concept through execution. Key Responsibilities Creative Leadership *Define and drive the overall creative vision and design language of the company. *Lead concept development for all events, exhibitions, and experiential projects. *Develop innovative, trend-setting creative concepts aligned with client objectives. *Drive brainstorming sessions and foster a culture of originality and creative excellence. *Establish creative standards and ensure consistency across all projects. Concept Development & Design *Develop themes, mood boards, visual narratives, presentation decks, and design concepts. *Translate client briefs into immersive spatial experiences. *Continuously research global design trends, materials, technologies, and experiential innovations. *Encourage experimentation with new design approaches and emerging creative technologies. Event & Set Design *Lead the creative planning of event environments, stage designs, scenic installations, and spatial layouts. *Ensure concepts are aesthetically compelling while remaining technically and commercially feasible. *Possess strong knowledge of: *Stage Design *Set Design *Scenic Fabrication *Spatial Planning *Lighting Integration *Material Selection *Structural Feasibility *Production Processes *Installation Methodologies *Vendor Coordination *On-site Execution Team Leadership & Management *Lead, mentor, and inspire teams across: *2D Design *3D Visualization *Motion Graphics *Video Content *AI-assisted Design *Creative Production *Conduct design reviews and provide constructive creative direction. *Build structured workflows and improve collaboration across departments. *Identify, recruit, train, and develop creative talent. Client Management *Lead creative presentations and pitch concepts confidently to clients. *Collaborate closely with Business Development and Project Management teams. *Present creative solutions while balancing client expectations with creative integrity. *Manage design revisions and approvals effectively. Project Execution *Ensure seamless translation of approved concepts into final execution. *Conduct site inspections during fabrication and installation. *Work closely with production teams to resolve design and execution challenges. *Maintain quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications *Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Spatial Design, or a related discipline. *815+ years of relevant professional experience. *Minimum 35 years in a senior creative leadership role. *Experience in corporate events & experiential design, event design, exhibitions, retail environments, production design, or related industries.
