CAI Business Units and the Markets We Serve CAI Software is organized into three business units - Graphic Communications, Process Manufacturing, and Discrete Manufacturing aligned to the markets we serve. This structure allows our teams to stay close to customer needs while operating with the scale and support of a global software company. This role is part of our Process Manufacturing business unit, which provides ERP and operational software to manufacturers that transform raw materials into finished goods through formulas, recipes, or batch-driven processes. We work with small to enterprise manufacturers across industries such as food and beverage, bottling, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, chemicals, paint, paper, tile, and supply chain logisticssupporting end-to-end operations from sourcing through production and distribution. CAI India CAI India is a strategic investment in the companys future. Our Bangalore Center of Excellence is a place of ownership, expertise, and accountability. Teams in India work on global products end to end, contribute to key decisions, and influence how CAI evolves as a business. This is not a support-led model, but rather a center designed to lead through knowledge, responsibility, and trust. About the Role The Product Owner for CAI is responsible for owning and prioritizing the product backlog and translating business, customer, and operational needs into well-defined user stories. This role partners closely with Product Management, Engineering, UX, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver incremental value aligned with the product roadmap. The role focuses on Inventory-centric ERP workflows including order management, warehouse operations, and financial integrations. What Were Looking For: Tech Stack & Tools Agile delivery tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent) Backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release management tools API and data-flow awareness to support story definition and acceptance criteria ERP or workflow-based SaaS platforms Analytics and reporting tools for tracking adoption and outcomes Collaboration tools for distributed teams Aha! or similar tool for Product use Experience: 58 years total experience 35 years in a Product Owner or equivalent Agile delivery role Required: Strong experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing prioritized backlogs Ability to balance customer needs, business value, and technical constraints Strong collaboration with Engineering, UX, and Product Management Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Overlap 4 hours with west coast is preferred Preferred: Domain experience aligned to the product area Experience supporting enterprise SaaS customers Familiarity with outcome-driven delivery and SaaS metrics Familiarity with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools.
