# Job Description Oracle Trainer (PL/SQL, Oracle DBA & Oracle Finance) ## About the Role We are looking for an experienced and passionate *Oracle Trainer* to deliver high-quality training in *Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Database Administration (DBA), and Oracle Finance Applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training students and professionals, preparing them for Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Oracle Database Administrator* certification, and ensuring they gain both theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on experience. The trainer should possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex database concepts while mentoring students throughout their learning journey. ## Key Responsibilities ### Training & Delivery * Deliver classroom and online training sessions on *Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Database Administration (DBA), and **Oracle Finance* modules. * Conduct comprehensive training for *Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Oracle DBA* certification. * Explain database concepts using real-time industry examples and practical demonstrations. * Develop and execute structured lesson plans, training schedules, and learning objectives. * Conduct hands-on lab sessions, assignments, case studies, and project-based learning activities. * Evaluate student performance through assessments, quizzes, and mock certification exams. * Provide guidance, doubt-clearing sessions, and one-on-one mentoring to help students achieve certification and career goals. ### Technical Responsibilities * Train students on Oracle Database architecture, installation, configuration, and administration. * Teach Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming, including stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors, and exception handling. * Cover database backup and recovery using RMAN, Data Pump, Flashback Technologies, and recovery strategies. * Explain user management, security, database monitoring, performance tuning, storage management, and troubleshooting techniques. * Deliver training on Oracle Finance concepts and Oracle Financial applications, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management. * Guide students in implementing database best practices and performance optimization techniques. ### Student Support * Track student attendance, learning progress, and certification readiness. * Assist students with practical assignments, projects, and interview preparation. * Provide career guidance and support for Oracle-related job opportunities. * Encourage students to work on real-world database administration and development projects. ### Content Development * Prepare and update training materials, presentations, lab manuals, and technical documentation. * Design certification-oriented study materials and mock test papers. * Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies, certification changes, and industry trends. ## Required Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. * Oracle Certification (OCA/OCP) is highly preferred. * Minimum *35 years of hands-on experience* in Oracle Database Administration, Oracle PL/SQL Development, or Oracle Financial Applications. * Prior experience in teaching or technical training is an added advantage. ## Required Technical Skills * Oracle Database Administration (11g/12c/19c or above) * Oracle SQL & PL/SQL Programming * Database Installation, Configuration & Upgrades * RMAN Backup & Recovery * Oracle RAC & Data Guard (preferred) * Performance Tuning & Database Monitoring * User & Security Management * Oracle Finance Modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management) * Linux/Unix Administration (preferred) ## Desired Skills * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Strong classroom management and mentoring abilities. * Passion for teaching and knowledge sharing. * Problem-solving and analytical thinking. * Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and practical manner. * Good organizational and documentation skills. * Positive attitude with a student-centric approach. ## Preferred Certifications * Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) * Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator * Oracle Financial Applications Certification (preferred) ## Benefits * Competitive Salary * Provident Fund (PF) * Paid Leave * Professional Development & Certification Support * Career Growth Opportunities * Collaborative and Learning-Focused Work Environment *Work Location:* In-person Compensation: 80,000.00 - 100,000.00 per month Work Location: In person .
