Position Summary: We are seeking a DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS HIPAA Specialist) to architect, implement, and maintain DentTracks HIPAA-compliant SaaS infrastructure. This role ensures the platform is secure, scalable, resilient, and optimized for cost and performance. The engineer will be hands-on in building AWS infrastructure with automation, working closely with developers, security, and product teams. Key Responsibilities: Design and manage HIPAA-eligible AWS infrastructure (EKS, EC2 H200, S3, CloudFront, ElastiCache, Secrets Manager, VPC networking). Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK. Implement CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Argo Rollouts) for microservices and front-end deployments. Configure security guardrails: IAM least privilege, KMS encryption, WAF, Shield Advanced, GuardDuty, Security Hub. Manage multi-region, high-availability architecture with failover and disaster recovery plans. Support monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, Datadog). Optimize cost efficiency through autoscaling, reserved instances, and capacity blocks (for GPUs). Collaborate with Security Engineers to ensure HIPAA, SOC 2, and BAA compliance across infrastructure. Provide operational support, troubleshooting, and on-call rotation for critical systems. Qualifications 2+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles. Deep experience with AWS HIPAA-e .
