Educational Qualification B.E./B.Tech/MCA or Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience 2-6 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Business Analysis for software products. Experience in Travel Technology or an Online Travel Company (OTA) will be preferred. Required Skills - 2-6 years of experience in managing software products, preferably enterprise or SaaS products. - Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Experience in gathering business requirements and converting them into user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements. - Knowledge of product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms. - Ability to create and prioritize product backlogs based on business value and customer needs. - Understanding of APIs, REST services, HTTP, and web-based applications. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, UI/UX, and Business teams. - Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Key Responsibilities - Manage and enhance travel products including Flights, Hotels, Payment Gateway, Holidays, and other travel-related services. - Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from internal and external stakeholders. - Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. - Work closely with Engineering, QA, and Design teams to ensure successful product delivery. - Prioritize product backlog and support sprint planning activities. - Track product development progress and ensure timely delivery of features. - Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate product releases before deployment. - Analyze customer feedback, production issues, and product performance to identify enhancement opportunities. - Monitor product KPIs and recommend improvements based on customer and business insights. - Use JIRA to manage user stories, epics, tasks, sprint planning, and progress tracking. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define product roadmap and release plans. - Stay updated with market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the travel industry. - Escalate project risks, blockers, or delays to the reporting manager in a timely manner. Preferred Skills - Experience in the Travel Domain (Flights, Hotels, Payment Gateway, Holidays, Visa, etc.). - Exposure to Agile frameworks including Scrum or SAFe. - Basic understanding of Product Roadmap planning and Product Lifecycle Management. - Familiarity with SQL, analytics tools, or product metrics is an added advantage. - Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations. Valuable to Have - SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or Agile/Scrum certification. - Experience working with Online Travel Agencies (OTA) or Travel Technology platforms. - Understanding of Lean Product Management principles. - Exposure to value-based product development and customer-centric product design. .
