Role Overview SWAD Cooking Institute is looking for a responsible, organized, and proactive Inventory & Floor Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, inventory management, staff coordination, and floor discipline. The role requires an individual who can efficiently manage ingredient stock, maintain operational accountability, monitor kitchen staff and chefs, and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the institute kitchens and operational areas. The ideal candidate should possess robust coordination skills, operational understanding, leadership qualities, and the ability to maintain discipline and systemised workflow within the organization. Key Responsibilities - Maintain and monitor complete inventory records of all kitchen ingredients, raw materials, equipment, and consumables. - Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stock rotation of ingredients and materials. - Prepare and maintain inventory reports and stock records regularly. - Ensure that all purchases are justified based on operational requirements: Newly purchased items, Re-purchased items, Quantity consumed, Usage frequency. - Coordinate with management regarding inventory requirements and approvals. - Identify and document reasons for disposal, spoilage, expiry, damage, or wastage. - Implement systems to improve stock utilization and reduce losses. - Supervise the daily functioning of kitchen operations and floor activities. - Ensure smooth coordination among chefs, kitchen assistants, and support staff. - Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and organization standards are maintained across all kitchen areas. - Coordinate with HR/Management regarding attendance irregularities or operational concerns. - Ensure employees follow institute SOPs, hygiene standards, and operational protocols. - Act as the first point of contact for operational or staff-related concerns. - Address and resolve day-to-day grievances among kitchen staff and operational teams professionally. - Maintain healthy coordination and communication among departments.
