Senior Video Editor, Cinematographer & Video Director Company: Nandan Borker Collective Location: New Delhi Employment Type: Full-Time, Work from Office About the Role Nandan Borker Collective is looking for an experienced, visually driven and creatively ambitious Senior Video Editor, Cinematographer & Video Director to join our in-house creative team in New Delhi. This is a hands-on role for someone who can contribute across the complete visual production process, from developing concepts and planning shoots to cinematography, direction, editing and final delivery. The selected candidate will work on music videos, live concert films, conceptual shoots, artist content, promotional campaigns and original visual formats. We are looking for someone who understands how music, performance, camera movement, lighting, pacing and emotion come together to create memorable visual storytelling. The ideal candidate should be equally confident behind the camera and in the edit suite, with the ability to take ownership of projects while collaborating closely with the creative team. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute visual concepts for music videos, live performances, conceptual shoots and promotional contentDirect and cinematograph productions while maintaining a clear and consistent visual languagePlan camera setups, lenses, framing, movement, lighting and overall shot designEdit both long-form and short-form content with a strong understanding of rhythm, pacing, continuity and emotional impactCollaborate on treatments, mood boards, shot lists and production planningPerform colour correction, colour grading, sound synchronization and basic motion graphicsMaintain visual consistency across multiple cameras, locations and production formatsOrganize footage, project files, backups and final deliverables efficientlyTroubleshoot production and post-production challenges with a practical, solution-oriented approachTake creative direction effectively while also contributing strong original ideasEnsure that every project is delivered to a high professional standard within agreed timelines Qualifications Minimum 56 years of professional experience in video editing and cinematographyAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro and Adobe After EffectsStrong knowledge of professional cameras, lenses, lighting equipment and camera movementExcellent understanding of cinematography, composition, colour, visual storytelling and editingExperience working on music videos, live concerts, performance films or conceptual productions is highly desirableAbility to independently manage projects from pre-production to final deliveryStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-moving creative environmentStrong communication skills and the ability to understand and execute artistic directionRelevant degree in Film Production, Cinematography, Media or a related field is preferredA strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating both cinematography and editing work is mandatory Who We Are Looking For We are looking for a creative filmmaker, not merely a camera operator or editor.
