- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for APIs and intermediates to support long-term supply security. - Ensure uninterrupted material supply to meet production schedules and avoid manufacturing disruptions. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and collaboration. - Conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, and long-term supply contracts. - Monitor global API market trends and proactively manage cost fluctuations and supply risks. - Achieve annual procurement cost reduction targets through strategic sourcing and supplier optimization. - Ensure procurement from approved vendors compliant with GMP standards and internal quality policies. - Collaborate with QA and RA teams to ensure availability of regulatory documentation such as DMF, COA, and other compliance requirements. - Ensure timely delivery of materials to prevent production delays or stoppages. - Coordinate with logistics teams for customs clearance, shipment tracking, and import management. - Monitor inventory levels and supplier lead times to support efficient production planning. .
