Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Power System Engineer with strong expertise in power system studies, grid integration, and simulation tools such as PSSE and PSCAD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing grid interconnection studies, system modeling, stability analysis, and supporting renewable energy integration into transmission and distribution networks. Key Responsibilities Perform power system analysis including load flow, short circuit, contingency, and stability studies using PSSE and PSCAD. Conduct grid interconnection studies for renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, and hybrid systems. Develop and validate power system models for generators, transmission lines, transformers, and other grid components. Perform dynamic simulations, transient analysis, and EMT studies to evaluate system performance and stability. Support grid compliance requirements and ensure adherence to regional grid codes and standards. Coordinate with utilities, consultants, OEMs, and project stakeholders for grid integration activities. Prepare detailed technical reports, study documentation, and presentations. Analyze power quality issues and recommend mitigation solutions. Support commissioning activities and troubleshoot grid-related issues. Assist in developing system protection coordination and control strategies. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering Experience: 68 years of experience in power system analysis and grid integration Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with: oPSSE (Power System Simulator for Engineering) oPSCAD (Power Systems Computer Aided Design) Experience in: oLoad flow and short circuit studies oTransient and dynamic stability studies oEMT simulations oGrid integration of renewable energy (Solar/Wind/BESS) Knowledge of grid codes and standards Familiarity with transmission and distribution systems Preferred Skills: Experience with other tools like ETAP, DigSILENT PowerFactory, or MATLAB/Simulink Knowledge of grid compliance studies (LVRT, HVRT, frequency response, etc.) Experience working with utilities, EPC companies, or renewable developers Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and report-writing abilities Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams Good project coordination skills .
