We are hiring a Senior Smart Grid Electrical Engineer for our Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore location. Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred. Drive Business Development and prepare techno-commercial proposals on Smart Grid Solutions and Electrical Assets Performance Management Solutions. By monitoring performance, optimizing maintenance, substation monitoring, transformer and switchgear condition monitoring, Arc flash prediction, cable end-point monitoring and failure prediction, and collaborating with the Principal Engineer, the role aims to enhance the safety, availability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of AIGC et from an electrical engineering perspective. Roles and Responsibilities 1. Design and implementation of smart grid solutions in alignment with industry best practices. 2. Smart Grid Electrical Engineer to promote smart grid and electrical APM (Asset Performance Management) solutions to clients and prepare techno-commercial proposals. 3. Provide expert electrical engineering advice and support in the selection, installation, and maintenance of smart grid solutions and drone inspection of overhead powerlines, substation monitoring, transformer, switchgear condition monitoring, Arc flash prediction, cable end-point monitoring and failure prediction, focusing on maximizing safety, availability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. 4. Monitor and analyze performance data obtained from client systems, interpreting the results to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement from an electrical engineering standpoint. 5. Work closely with the client and other sales team to develop proposals and action plans for improving client safety, reliability, and performance, with a specific emphasis on electrical engineering considerations. 6. Design and deploy Asset Performance Management (APM) system focusing on predictive maintenance and asst health assessment and monitoring, etc. Minimum Experience 1. High level of skill in an electrical engineering (maintenance / smart grids) environment. 2. High level of knowledge in the implementation and application of smart grid and asset performance management solutions and systems, including data analytics, substation monitoring, transformer, switchgear condition monitoring, Arc flash prediction, cable end-point monitoring and failure prediction and reporting. 3. High level of skill in undertaking technical investigations, fault- finding, testing, problem solving, and providing technical support in relation to electrical systems. 4. High level of skill in developing and continuously improving electrical systems, strategies, scopes of work and modifications to improve performance, reliability, safety and cost. 5. High level of skill in formulating procedures and introducing new technologies for the purchase of new equipment and maintenance of existing equipment. 6. High level of interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. 7. Substantial level of skill in consulting, negotiating and engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, including change management processes. Education and Qualifications Electrical engineering degree. Proven experience in smart grid solutions. Experience 10+ years of experience. .
