We are looking for a skilled Senior Node js Backend Developer with 4 years of experience in Node js and serverside technologies to join our growing team on a contract basis The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable highperformance backend services and APIs You will work closely with clients stakeholders frontend developers and product managers to deliver robust productionready backend solutions Key Responsibilities Develop maintain and optimize serverside applications and microservices using Node js Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend and thirdparty systems Build and manage database schemas queries and data models across SQL and NoSQL databases Ensure backend systems are secure performant and scalable Collaborate with frontend developers to define and document API contracts Write clean modular reusable and welldocumented code Troubleshoot debug and resolve backend and serverside issues Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions Optimize applications for performance reliability and security Stay updated with new technologies and suggest improvements to backend architecture and processes Prior experience with banking or financial domain projects is preferred Show Less Preferred Skills 4 years of professional experience in backend development Strong expertise in Node js and JavaScript ES6 Strong understanding of TypeScript TS over JS Experience with Express js Fastify or similar Node js frameworks Good knowledge of databases such as MongoDB MySQL or PostgreSQL Experience in API design and development RESTful GraphQL is a plus Understanding of microservices architecture and eventdriven design Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka Experience with authentication and authorization JWT OAuth2 etc Familiarity with testing frameworks Jest Mocha Supertest etc Experience with Git CI CD pipelines and Docker Exposure to cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCP is a plus Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment Compensation 1 200 000 00 1 800 000 00 per year Work Location In person .
