Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Control Chemist / Quality Control Microbiologist based in Bhiwandi, Thane. The role involves performing routine and laboratory tests to assess the quality, safety, and compliance of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Responsibilities include preparing samples, operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, monitoring environmental and microbiological parameters, and documenting test results in accordance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The individual will collaborate with production and R&D teams to investigate deviations, support corrective actions, and help optimize processes. The role also includes maintaining laboratory records, participating in audits, and contributing to continuous improvement of quality systems. Preferred Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Quality Control skills, including understanding of quality standards, specifications, and food safety requirements. Candidates should possess practical Laboratory Skills, including sample preparation, microbiological techniques, and safe handling of chemicals and reagents. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, such as data interpretation, problem-solving, and use of basic statistical methods for quality evaluation. Candidates should possess experience with Laboratory Equipment, including operation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of instruments used in chemical and microbiological analysis. Candidates should possess knowledge of Calibration procedures for laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results. Relevant qualifications such as a bachelors degree or diploma in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Technology, or a related field. Familiarity with GMP, GLP, HACCP, and other food industry quality standards is beneficial. Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Prior experience in food ingredients, nutraceuticals, or related manufacturing sectors is an advantage. .
