: Assistant Manager / Manager R&D; Tax Advisory Location: Remote (India) About the Role As an Assistant Manager / Manager within our client's R&D; Tax Advisory team, you will support the delivery of R&D; tax incentive engagements for clients across their UAE practice. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with client-facing colleagues to prepare high-quality technical reports, analyse financial information, develop proposals, and ensure engagements are delivered efficiently and accurately. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to build specialist expertise within an international R&D; tax practice while working with innovative businesses across a broad range of industries. Key Responsibilities - Support the preparation and delivery of R&D; tax incentive claims for clients across the UAE. - Analyse financial information and expenditure schedules to identify qualifying R&D; expenditure. - Review client documentation and supporting evidence to assess qualifying R&D; activities. - Prepare draft technical narratives, supporting reports and claim documentation for review by senior team members. - Assist in preparing client proposals, presentations and other business development materials. - Stay up to date with developments in R&D; tax incentive legislation and relevant tax authority guidance. - Liaise with internal teams to obtain information required for claim preparation and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines. - Work collaboratively within an international team while maintaining high standards of accuracy, professionalism and confidentiality. Requirements - 3 to 7 years of relevant experience (designation to be aligned based on experience). - Experience in preparing or supporting R&D; tax incentive claims, innovation incentives or specialist tax advisory engagements. - Experience supporting clients in the UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada or other English-speaking jurisdictions would be highly desirable. - Previous experience working remotely within an international qualified services environment is preferred. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and technical information. - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with strong report writing abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. - Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments. - A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and develop technical expertise. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a global team. Preferred Experience - Previous experience with a Big Four, mid-tier accounting firm or specialist R&D; tax consultancy. - Exposure to preparing technical reports and supporting tax authority enquiries or reviews. - Experience working with clients across software, engineering, construction, manufacturing, life sciences or other innovation-led sectors. - Experience leveraging AI tools or technology to enhance research, documentation or delivery efficiency would be an advantage. .
