We are seeking a highly skilled, versatile Lead Engineer to join our engineering team and drive the development of robust, scalable, and secure applications across on-premises and cloud environments. This role demands deep technical expertise in modern frameworks and programming languages, a strong grasp of software engineering principles, and a proactive mindset geared toward delivering high-quality solutions that meet evolving business and supplier needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building full-stack applications using technologies such as Spring Boot, Node.js, React, and Next.js, and a solid foundation in Core Java and J2EE.nnnIn this role, you will not only contribute hands-on to development but also provide architecture guidance, design leadership, and technical direction, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, best practices, and long-term scalability. As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for end-to-end solution ownership, including application design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architecture, quality engineering, and site reliability.nnnYou will also play a key role in release management, CI/CD pipeline development, system monitoring, and security remediation. A strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Protected and Lean-Agile practices, is essential for success in this role. Provide technical leadership and enforce best practices, coding standards, and design patterns to ensure consistency, maintainability, and performance. Ensure end-to-end application quality through unit testing, defect resolution, and collaboration with QA teams for functional, regression, and automation testing. Drive system reliability and performance by proactively troubleshooting issues and implementing observability (logging, monitoring, alerting) in partnership with SRE/DevOps teams. Lead release management and CI/CD practices, including pipeline development, deployment planning, execution, and documentation across all environments.nnn Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, DevOps, Security, Product) to define architecture, integration patterns, and cloud strategies. Manage change processes using ServiceNow, ensuring governance compliance and approvals for production releases. Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and continuously improve application and operational processes. Produce high-quality technical and operational documentation. Apply SAFe and Agile methodologies, effectively prioritizing work and managing multiple initiatives.
