Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Credit Rating in the Banking /Finance Industry. Immediate / Early Joiners would be preferred. Primary Responsibility The Rating Analyst would conduct end-to-end rating involving the following primary responsibilities: - Credit analysis of financial instruments in the BFSI sector for banks, NBFCs, MFIs, and Structured Finance Products - Financial analysis and the ability to make financial projections of the financial instruments. - Analytical rigor in the presentations to the rating committees - Please maintain excellent quality in the analysis and stay up to date on market/industry information, and take suitable, need-based rating actions. - Interact with company management, auditors, bankers, and other lenders, and visit companies and factories as part of regular monitoring and data collection. - To take ownership of the folio by conducting regular surveillance, monitoring, and reviews on a quarterly and material-event basis, tracking the performance of the companies in relation to macroeconomic changes, and handling internal and external audit queries. - Strictly adhere to standard operating procedures, regulations & policies. - Adept in meeting tight deadlines with no compromise on analytical quality - Mentor and guide junior rating analysts - Client interaction and managing good relations. Competency / Skills - Analytical expertise in the Banks / NBFCs / MFIs / Structured Finance Products segment, including financial modeling, ratio analysis, and industry knowledge. - Updated with the latest regulatory guidelines and circulars, especially in Structured Finance Products. - Excellent verbal / written communication and presentation skills. - Proficiency: Strong domain knowledge in credit assessment in the BFSI sector - Banks, NBFCs, MFIs, and Structured Finance products - Solid analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills to present the facts along with rating recommendations to the rating committees. .
