We're Hiring | Firewall Engineer Position: Firewall Engineer Experience: 23 Years Location: Noida (Work From Office) Salary: Up to 6 LPA Job Summary We are looking for a Firewall Engineer with 23 years of hands-on experience in firewall administration, deployment, and network security. The ideal candidate must have practical experience working with Fortinet Firewalls (FortiGate) and a solid understanding of enterprise networking, VPNs, routing & switching, and network security best practices. Key Responsibilities Configure, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls. Create and maintain firewall policies, NAT rules, security profiles, IPS, web filtering, and application control. Configure and support IPSec VPN and SSL VPN solutions. Monitor firewall performance, logs, security events, and resolve network security issues. Support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN infrastructure. Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches. Work with networking technologies such as TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, ACLs, NAT, DHCP, DNS, and QoS. Perform firmware upgrades, backups, patch management, and firewall health checks. Collaborate with internal teams to implement secure and scalable network solutions. Maintain network documentation and ensure compliance with security best practices. Required Skills 23 years of experience in Network Security or Firewall Administration. Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls is mandatory. Strong understanding of firewall concepts, security policies, NAT, IPS, and VPN technologies. Good knowledge of Cisco Routing & Switching. Experience in troubleshooting enterprise network and security issues. Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Preferred Skills Basic knowledge of Azure Networking or cloud networking. Exposure to Cisco Meraki, Wireless Networking, or SD-WAN. Knowledge of Python or PowerShell scripting is an added advantage. Understanding of IDS/IPS and enterprise security best practices. Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Certifications Fortinet Certified Associate (FCA), NSE 4, or higher. CCNA (Preferred).
