Role: Assistant HR Manager Location: Kinshasa, Congo (Central Africa) Compensation: upto 1600 USD per month (Tax free) + Expat benefits Position Overview The Assistant HR Manager will support the HR department in managing hospital workforce operations. This role will require to manage smooth HR processes, compliance with healthcare regulations, and effective employee engagement to maintain high standards of patient care. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Staffing Assist in hiring medical, nursing, and administrative staff. Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs. Manage onboarding and orientation programs. Employee Relations Address employee concerns and grievances. Support conflict resolution and promote a positive workplace culture. Assist in implementing employee engagement initiatives. Training & Development Organize training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff. Track mandatory certifications and continuing education requirements. Support leadership development and succession planning. Compliance & Policies Ensure HR practices comply with hospital policies, labor laws, and healthcare regulations. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation. Assist in audits and accreditation processes. Performance Management Support appraisal cycles and feedback processes. Monitor staff performance and recommend improvement plans. Help align employee goals with hospital objectives. Payroll & Benefits Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration. Ensure timely resolution of compensation-related queries. Coordinate with finance for accurate salary disbursement. Qualifications Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 7+ years of HR experience (preferably in Hospital only). Strong knowledge of labor laws and hospital HR practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Competencies Empathy and understanding of healthcare workforce challenges. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in HR software and hospital information systems. Collaborative mindset with leadership potential.
