Oracle DBA Consultant (Kolkata)

Oracle DBA Consultant | Remote (Preferred Bangalore) We're looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator who enjoys solving complex database challenges and keeping business-critical systems running smoothly. You'll be working with enterprise clients across different industries, helping them manage, optimize, and modernize their Oracle database environments. If you've worked with high-availability databases, performance tuning, migrations, and disaster recovery, this role will give you the opportunity to work on large-scale environments while collaborating with architects, developers, and infrastructure teams. What You'll Do Manage Oracle database environments across production, test, and disaster recovery setups. Perform installations, upgrades, patching, backups, and database migrations. Monitor database health and proactively improve performance and availability. Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize SQL performance. Configure and support Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN. Strengthen database security, user access, auditing, and compliance. Automate routine DBA activities using Shell scripting and DevOps practices. Partner with application teams and client stakeholders to recommend improvements and modernization strategies. What We're Looking For Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c/21c). Expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN. Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). Valuable understanding of AWR, ASH, ADDM, SQL, and PL/SQL. Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments. Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting production databases.
