Job Overview DB Engineer Oracle and PostgreSQL skills required to drive the data migration between Oracle and PostgreSQL DB automate the data integrity and migration validation scripts at DB level. Skills and Responsibilities Oracle Database Knowledge: Understanding of Oracle schemas data types PLSQL triggers stored procedures and constraints. PostgreSQL Knowledge: Familiarity with PostgreSQL schemas data types functions extensions and procedural language PLpgSQL. Migration Tools: Utilities such as pgloader ora2pg ETL scripts with Python Perl etc. Error Handling and Troubleshooting: Ability to identify diagnose and resolve migration errors incompatibilities remove duplicates ensure data quality. .
