JOB DESCRIPTION Senior Data Engineer Azure | SQL Server | Microsoft Fabric Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join an application development team supporting a business-critical enterprise web application and its data ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have robust hands-on expertise across SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, Logic Apps, Power BI, GitHub, data modelling, and enterprise integrations. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and support SQL Server databases used by the enterprise web application. Build and maintain Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for data movement, transformation, scheduling, monitoring, and recovery. Develop and optimize T-SQL, stored procedures, views, and database objects. Design data models and implement ETL/ELT and incremental data-processing solutions. Integrate application data with Dynamics 365 and other enterprise systems using REST APIs. Develop and support data solutions using Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, and OneLake. Use Azure Logic Apps for application/data integration, workflow orchestration, notifications, and event-driven processing. Support Power BI and enterprise reporting requirements. Implement data quality, reconciliation, logging, error handling, retry, and monitoring mechanisms. Troubleshoot SQL, pipeline, integration, and production data issues. Use GitHub and CI/CD practices for source control and deployments. Collaborate with application developers and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable enterprise data solutions.
