Job Description: Role : Sr SQL Database Developer Experience range: 5- 7 Years Notice Period: 0 - 30 Days Location: Nashik/Bangalore/Pune Mandatory Skills: SQL Server development experience + Performance Tuning + SQL maintenance experience Educational Requirements: Graduate + Required SQL Related Courses Responsibilities. o Ensure Database Performance and Stability a. Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases. b. Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL c. Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools. d. Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required. e. Identifying the queries that consume CPU, Memory, and logical I/O operation f. Provide timely scheduled server/database maintenance report. Able to analyze existing SQL queries to improve the performance of operators like key lookup/memory grant/nested lookup/implicit conversion/wait statistics analysis etc. o Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently and collaboratively. o Team Player o Collaborate with team members and stake holders. o Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement. o Stored procedure code review and make sure the queries utilize proper indexes. o Review the fragmentation for databases to determine if you particular indexes must be rebuilt based on analysis from a backup SQL Server o Review for failed SQL Server Agent Jobs and fix those o Review the SQL Server error log for any errors or security issues (successful or failed logins) that are unexpected. o Perform a full index analysis for all databases. Determine unused indexes and disable if appropriate. Determine missing indexes and investigate process to update or add indexes to better cover data usage. .
