We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Supervisor to lead high-performing mechanical teams on complex industrial, infrastructure, and energy projects. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of mechanical installation, maintenance, commissioning, and shutdown activities. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, mentor technicians and junior supervisors, and ensure full compliance with international standards while delivering projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all mechanical construction, installation, maintenance, and repair activities on assigned projects, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, codes, and client requirements. Lead daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and work-front planning meetings; enforce strict compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and site-specific safety procedures. Manage teams of mechanical fitters, welders, pipefitters, millwrights, and contractors; allocate resources, monitor productivity, and resolve technical or interpersonal issues promptly. Review and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, equipment manuals, and method statements; provide technical guidance on alignment, rigging, bolting, welding, and rotating equipment installation. Oversee quality control processes including dimensional checks, pressure testing, non-destructive testing coordination, and punch-list clearance; maintain accurate inspection and test records. Plan and execute mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in close coordination with process, electrical, and instrumentation teams. Track material deliveries, tool inventories, and consumables; raise material requisitions and manage site stores to avoid delays. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, including manpower histograms, productivity metrics, and variance analysis against baseline schedules. Identify and mitigate risks related to mechanical scope, interface management, and constructability; participate in constructability reviews and value-engineering sessions. Mentor and develop junior supervisors and technicians through structured on-the-job training, competency assessments, and performance feedback.
