About the Role We are hiring for an Agentforce Developer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered agents on the Salesforce platform. This role requires a strong Salesforce development foundation combined with hands-on experience building and configuring Agentforce agents someone who can go beyond traditional automation to build agents that read CRM data and take real actions autonomously. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy AI agents using Agentforce - Agent Builder, Topics, Actions, and Prompt Templates Develop custom Actions using Apex, including @InvocableMethod implementations to expose business logic to agents Build supporting automation using Flows and Flow Builder where applicable Develop Lightning Web Components (LWC) for agent-facing or admin-facing interfaces as needed Write and refine Prompt Templates using Prompt Builder to guide agent reasoning and responses Ground agent responses in accurate business data using Data Cloud and SOQL/SOSL queries Apply RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) principles to reduce hallucination and improve response accuracy Test, review, and monitor agent behavior - safety reviews, tracing agent reasoning, and observability practices Collaborate with Business Analysts, Admins, and Architects to translate business requirements into working agent capabilities Stay current with Salesforce's evolving Agentforce tooling and best practices (Agentforce Vibes, Agent Skills, MCP tools) Must-Have Skills 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience Practical, hands-on experience building and deploying Agentforce agents (not just conceptual knowledge) Strong Apex development skills, including experience with @InvocableMethod Working knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC) Experience with Flows and Flow Builder Strong SOQL/SOSL skills Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits Understanding of RAG concepts and general AI limitations (hallucinations, context windows, grounding) Good-to-Have Skills Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I / II Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist Salesforce Certified AI Associate Experience with Data Cloud Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools and APIs Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools within the Salesforce ecosystem
