Power BI Specialist

Position Description Business Division: Information Technology Department: IT Application Services Location: Mumbai Position Title: Power BI Specialist Level: J3 - Manager Reporting to (Title): Head COE- Data Analytics Position Purpose We are looking for a Power BI Specialist with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-impact dashboards and reports. The role requires strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and business storytelling, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights. Strategic Responsibilities Operational Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements. Perform data modeling optimized for performance. Develop DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs. Connect Power BI to multiple data sources. Ensure data accuracy, performance, and security. Implement Row-Level Security (RLS). Support deployment, refresh, and adoption. Troubleshoot data and performance issues. Document dashboards and metrics. Financial Responsibilities People Responsibilities Education Qualification BE/ B Tech. from reputed institutions Work Experience 4-5 years of Power BI experience. Industry to be Hired from IT Functional Competencies Ability to manage and utilise SQL Database effectively. Working experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) for data solutions Data & MIS Governance Agile (SAFe/SCRUM) Strong DAX and data modeling skills. Experience with Power Query and ETL concepts. Knowledge of Power BI Service.
