The role offers an opportunity to provide specialized diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care for patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, sound medical judgment, and a patient-centric approach while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Requirements Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive consultations and clinical assessments for patients with gastrointestinal and related conditionsDiagnose and manage a broad range of gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and liver disordersDevelop appropriate treatment plans based on clinical evaluation, investigations, and patient needsInterpret relevant laboratory, imaging, endoscopic, and diagnostic findingsPerform or oversee appropriate gastroenterology procedures within the scope of qualification and clinical expertiseMonitor patient progress and modify treatment plans when clinically requiredCoordinate with physicians, surgeons, nurses, diagnostic teams, and other specialists for multidisciplinary patient careProvide clear explanations regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, and follow-up care to patients and their familiesMaintain accurate patient records, clinical notes, investigation reports, and treatment documentationFollow established clinical protocols, medical ethics, infection-control standards, and patient-safety practicesParticipate in clinical discussions, case reviews, and quality-improvement initiativesStay updated with advances in gastroenterology, diagnostic techniques, treatment approaches, and clinical guidelines What Makes You a Great Fit Medical qualification with a recognized specialization in GastroenterologyStrong clinical knowledge of gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and liver disordersAbility to independently assess patients and develop appropriate clinical management plansSound understanding of diagnostic investigations and gastroenterology proceduresStrong clinical judgment, analytical ability, and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate and patient-focused approach to medical careAbility to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teamsStrong commitment to patient safety, clinical quality, and ethical medical practiceValid medical registration and applicable professional certificationsFreshers or early-career specialists may be considered depending on the specific clinical requirements and qualifications for the position .
