Talasha has been mandated to hire an Assistant Manager - Taxation, Audits & Valuations (Chartered Accountant) for a well-established Chartered Accountancy and Valuation Firm based in South Mumbai, providing professional services in Direct & Indirect Taxation, Audit & Assurance, Accounting, Business Valuation, Financial Modelling, Regulatory Compliance, and FEMA Advisory. Responsibilities - 1. Direct Tax Compliance Independently handle Income Tax Return assignments from data collection to filing. Prepare tax computations and coordinate tax payments and e-verification.Maintain complete documentation and update internal assignment trackers.Tax Audit Execute Tax Audit assignments from planning to finalisation.Review books from Income Tax, GST and statutory compliance perspectives.Prepare reconciliations, tax workings, Tax Audit Reports and Income Tax Computations.Coordinate internal reviews and implement review suggestions 3. GST Compliance Manage monthly, quarterly and annual GST compliances.Prepare GST workings and reconciliations.File GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C.Compute GST liabilities and coordinate tax payments with clients.Ensure timely filing and proper documentation.TDS Compliance Calculate TDS liabilities.Prepare challans and quarterly TDS returns.Ensure timely statutory compliance and documentation.Statutory / Internal Audit Execute statutory and internal audit assignments.Prepare audit working papers, reconciliations and query sheets.Coordinate with clients for rectification of observations and closure of audit queries.ROC Compliance Handle annual and event-based ROC compliances.Prepare statutory forms and supporting documentation.Coordinate approvals, DSC and MCA filings.Maintain statutory records and compliance trackers. 7. Client Management Coordinate directly with clients for data collection, clarifications and assignment completion. Respond to client queries professionally and ensure timely communication.Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.Research & Regulatory Updates Stay updated with amendments relating to Income Tax, GST, Companies Act and other regulatory laws.Analyse the impact of regulatory changes on client assignments.Share significant technical updates with the internal team.Valuation & Advisory Exposure (Preferred) Depending upon project requirements and individual capability, candidates may get opportunities to:Assist in Business Valuation assignments by Perform industry and market research.Prepare financial models and valuation workings, Assist in drafting valuation reports. Good to Have - - Qualified Chartered Accountant12 years of post-qualification experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm.Hands-on experience in Direct Tax, GST, Tax Audit, Statutory Audit and ROC Compliance.Experience in or interest in valuations & financial modellingExperience in independently handling client assignments and coordinating directly with clients CTC - Upto Rs.10-12LPA (Basis last drawn) Location - Mumbai, Charni Road (Work From Office) .
