Job Description Job description /n AGM / DGM Operations /n Location: Coimbatore (Must be HQ at Coimbatore) /n Language: Hindi is mandatory /n Experience: Relevant senior-level operations experience in the parcel/logistics industry /n Job Summary /n We are looking for an experienced AGM / DGM Operations to lead and manage end-to-end operations for a leading parcel service company in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to Pan-India operations and/or operations across major cities, with proven expertise in managing large teams, hubs, service quality, productivity and operational profitability. /n Key Responsibilities /n Operations Management /n /n Manage end-to-end parcel/logistics operations across assigned locations. /n Drive operational performance, productivity, service quality and cost efficiency. /n Ensure smooth functioning of hubs, branches, delivery operations and associated facilities. /n Monitor daily operational KPIs and take corrective actions to achieve targets. /n Ensure timely pickup, processing, movement and delivery of shipments. /n /n Pan-India / Multi-City Operations /n /n Must have experience managing operations across Pan-India or major Indian cities. /n Coordinate with regional/zonal teams and central operations. /n Standardize processes and best practices across multiple locations. /n Manage operational challenges involving high shipment volumes and multiple stakeholders. /n /n Team & People Management /n /n Lead large teams of operations, hub and delivery personnel. /n Build a performance-driven culture and improve employee productivity. /n Manage manpower planning, recruitment, training and performance evaluation. /n Develop second-line leadership and operational talent. /n /n Business & Cost Management /n /n Drive operational profitability through effective manpower, route and resource utilization. /n Control operating costs without compromising customer service. /n Monitor productivity, capacity utilization and other critical operational metrics. /n Support business growth through scalable and efficient operating processes. /n /n Customer Service & Quality /n /n Ensure adherence to defined service-level agreements and delivery timelines. /n Monitor customer complaints, escalations and service failures. /n Identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions. /n Improve customer experience and operational service quality. /n /n Compliance & Process Excellence /n /n Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs and statutory requirements. /n Strengthen operational controls and minimize losses, damages and shipment exceptions. /n Drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives. /n /n Candidate Profile /n /n Graduate/Postgraduate with strong operations experience. /n Significant experience in parcel, courier, express logistics, e-commerce logistics or similar industries. /n Proven experience in Pan-India operations or operations across major cities is mandatory. /n Strong leadership experience managing large and geographically distributed teams. /n Excellent understanding of hub, sortation, transportation and last-mile operations. /n Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. /n Hindi language proficiency is mandatory. /n Willingness to travel extensively as required. /n /n Industry: Leading Parcel / Courier / Logistics Company /n Mandatory: Hindi + Pan-India/Major City Operations Experience /n If your expeience suits our JD, Pl share your updated resume to 8610126715 .
