Function / DepartmentEstimation Reports ToCSA Estimation Manager Job Requirements1- Cost Estimator CSA | Delhi / Mumbai, IndiaFunction / DepartmentEstimation Grade / LevelL3 Reports ToCSA Estimation Manager Location / BaseDelhi / Mumbai, India Employment TypePermanent Mobilization WindowTravelFrequent regional travel occasional site visits 1- Purpose Of The Role (Job Summary)Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and priced BOQs for civil, structural, and architectural scopes on data center bids. 2- Key Responsibilities And AccountabilitiesTake off quantities from tender drawings, BIM models, and specifications: earthworks, concrete, steel, masonry, finishes, waterproofing, and external works.Prepare BOQs in client or internal formats with a clear measurement basis and assumptions log.Build unit-rate analyses covering materials, labor productivity, plant, subcontractor rates, and overheads.Float inquiries to subcontractors and suppliers; prepare comparative statements and normalize quotes.Price DC-specific items: equipment plinths and foundations, raised floors, precast elements, security walls, and fire-rated construction.Flag scope gaps, drawing conflicts, and specification ambiguities for clarification.Support value-engineering studies with quantity and cost deltas.Maintain the take-off archive and update the cost database with awarded rates.3- Key Performance IndicatorsQuantity variance vs award or re-measure within 3%. BOQs and comparative statements delivered on time per bid plan. At least 3 quotes per major package. No unlogged assumptions in submitted estimates.4- Qualifications & CertificationsBachelors Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory). Working knowledge of IS measurement standards; CPWD/DSR familiarity and CDCP are an advantage.5- Experience710 years in civil estimation or quantity surveying on industrial, commercial, or EPC projects. Data center or other mission-critical exposure preferred. Hands-on BIM and CAD-based take-off experience.6- CompetenciesMeticulous measurement and documentation discipline. Advanced Excel; AutoCAD/Revit take-off tools; CostX, Candy, or equivalent. Fast and accurate under tender deadlines. Clear written communication of assumptions and exclusions. Detail Orientation, problem-solvingWork ExperienceTechnical SkillsQuantity take-off, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, AutoCAD, Revit, and estimation software. Key InterfacesInternal: CSA Estimation Manager, proposal team, design office (CSA), SCM. External: CSA subcontractors and material suppliers during inquiry cycles.Special ConditionsHigh workload during bid periods. .
