Financial & Management Accounting Location: Mumbai / Thane Experience: 5+ Years Qualification: B.Com / MBA Finance / Bachelors Degree with relevant experience Domain: Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Employment Type: Full-time Job Description We are looking for an experienced Financial & Management Accounting professional to join our team. The role involves managing accounting and financial reporting activities, month-end closing, reconciliations, intercompany processes, financial controls, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in management reporting, advanced Excel skills, and exposure to SAP. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Control Prepare and post daily and monthly accounting entries, including accruals, prepayments, intercompany entries, rent deferrals, asset capitalization, and write-offs.Perform month-end financial closing activities for assigned entities.Reconcile accounting systems with financial ledgers and investigate and resolve breaks or discrepancies.Support intercompany accounting and billing processes.Coordinate with Finance Expense and Tax teams across different regions to ensure timely completion of intercompany activities.Assist in reviewing and updating counterparty Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in coordination with relevant stakeholders.Provide accurate and timely financial data to the Reporting team.Support audit and regulatory queries by providing relevant information and documentation.Identify and escalate issues or risks to the Team Manager.Maintain high-quality service standards while working with internal stakeholders. Process Improvement & System Support Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and workflow efficiency.Support system upgrades, reporting tool enhancements, and implementation of new reporting requirements.Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist with troubleshooting after system deployment.Document operational processes, control procedures, and process improvements.Support cross-training and provide backup coverage for team members when required. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting and Management Reporting.Strong understanding of financial accounting, month-end closing, and reconciliations.Good knowledge of cost allocation methodologies.Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including: Formulas and functionsPivot TablesCharts and graphsKnowledge of SAP, including FICO and PO Modules.Working knowledge of MS Access will be an added advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and tools.
