We are seeking a seasoned SAP ABAP Lead to drive technical excellence and innovation within our core enterprise systems. In this role, you will spearhead the design, development, and optimization of complex SAP solutions, ensuring our technical architecture aligns with evolving business operations. You will act as a key technical authority, guiding development teams to deliver high-quality, scalable code that enhances our SAP ecosystem. Key Deliverables Lead the end-to-end design and development of custom SAP ABAP solutions to support complex business processes. Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications. Oversee code reviews, performance tuning, and debugging to ensure the stability and efficiency of SAP applications. Integrate emerging technologies, including AI-driven enhancements, into existing SAP landscapes to drive operational productivity. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices, coding standards, and system architecture. Manage the full software development lifecycle, from initial requirement gathering through to deployment and post-production support. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance and reduce technical debt across the SAP environment. Essential Requirements Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development. Proven expertise in RICEFW objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow. Strong technical proficiency in SAP S/4HANA development, including CDS views, AMDP, and OData services. Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage complex project deliverables in an onsite environment. Deep understanding of SAP integration patterns and experience working with cross-functional business operations. Preferred Qualifications Experience integrating AI/ML models with SAP systems to automate business operations. Certification in SAP S/4HANA or related cloud-based SAP technologies. Prior experience in large-scale digital transformation projects within a global consulting environment. Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and cloud-native development practices.
