Job Summary: Disney, a leader in the entertainment industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage HR operations remotely, supporting a diverse team across various functions and departments. Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention. Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management. Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion through employee engagement programs and leadership development. Manage talent acquisition strategies, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview processes, ensuring alignment with organizational needs. Develop and administer employee benefits programs, ensuring competitive offerings that support work-life balance and employee well-being. Analyze HR metrics to assess program effectiveness and recommend improvements to leadership. Stay updated on relevant labor laws, employment regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance. Implement training and development programs aimed at enhancing employee skills, leadership potential, and career growth. Champion organizational change efforts and communicate HR initiatives to all team members effectively. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Masters degree is a plus. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred. Proven experience in an HR management role, preferably with remote teams. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels. High level of emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficient in HR software (e.g., ADP, Workday, BambooHR, etc.) and MS Office Suite. Experience with virtual team building and engagement strategies. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in an HR management role. Experience working in a remote environment and managing virtual teams. Previous experience in a women-led organization is a plus. Working Hours: Full-time position. Flexible working hours with a focus on delivering results, while maintaining work-life balance. Occasional meetings or collaborations may require availability during non-standard business hours, depending on time zone differences. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: A deep understanding of HR practices and the ability to apply them in a remote, women-led organizational structure. Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and coach senior leaders. Expertise in conflict resolution and fostering a positive, inclusive work culture. High level of proficiency with HR technologies and systems. Excellent time management and organizational abilities. Ability to adapt to a fast-changing work environment, particularly in a remote setting. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse teams and individuals.
