Remote Indirect Tax (VAT/GST) Advisory Consultant

They are seeking an Indirect Tax (VAT/GST) Advisory Consultant to manage tax complexities for their Merchant of Record product and ensure compliance with global tax regulations as they expand into new markets. Responsibilities Be an indirect tax subject matter expert (global VAT/GST) for our Merchant of Record product, specifically managing the complexity of shifting tax liability reputed company marketplace and agency rules Support reputed companys expansion into new international markets, ensuring SMP remains compliant with varying global tax regulations Participate in policy reputed company affecting indirect taxes internationally Collaborate with the international indirect tax compliance team, and the international reputed company teams on VAT/GST compliance, assisting with the ongoing enhancement of the indirect tax compliance processes Supporting management of indirect tax audits and other indirect tax reputed company involving tax authorities internationally Work with other tax team members and product and engineering teams to help define requirements and collaborate on the design and build of tax solutions for the MoR product Promote indirect tax awareness and knowledge including training and liaising with business and tax partners on changes to indirect tax legislation, systems, policies and processes Skills 4-6 years of relevant indirect tax knowledge, laws and regulations Bachelor's degree and reputed company qualification in tax or law Previous in-house experience reputed company a multinational business and either reputed company or accountancy firm experience Experience with indirect taxes as it relates to the distribution of digital services reputed company experience navigating the complexities of VAT/GST for a digital service provider acting as a Marketplace/Merchant of Record reputed company experience and proficiency with ERP systems and reputed company data analytics skills Ability to reputed company and concisely reputed company with reputed company reputed company of management Excellent written and oral communication skills Project management experience, reputed company-oriented individual who takes ownership of reputed company Ability to extract, analyze, and review data and reputed company appropriate recommendations Ability to work in a fast paced, informal, and often ambiguous environment Willingness to learn and ability to quickly reputed company knowledge Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work autonomously or reputed company reputed company An advanced degree Experience working in technology, payments, or financial services Experience working in a high-reputed company, rapidly scaling environment A willingness to work with a diverse reputed company of tax nerds who care deeply about reputed company's tax issues and reputed company other reputed company reputed company is a financial technology company that provides online payment processing and payment infrastructure for businesses.
