Job Description Job Title: Global Local Services-Transition Manager Location: Pan Imdia Experience: 15+ yrs Employment Type: Contract to hire Work Mode: Hybrid Notice Period: Immediate joiners Roles & Responsibilities Transition Leadership & Governance Own and lead endtoend infrastructure transition programs for large, complex data centre environments, from contract signature through steady state. Define and execute transition strategy, roadmap, governance model, and success criteria. Act as the single point of accountability for transition outcomes, risks, and client satisfaction. Establish and chair transition governance forums, ensuring transparent reporting and executive decisionmaking. Data Centre & Infrastructure Scope Lead Transitions Covering Largescale Data Centre Operations, Including Compute (servers, virtualization) Storage and backup Network (LAN, WAN, DC networking) Database- Oracle, SQL, DB2, MongoDB, Postgres SQL Security Asset Management Service Management Ensure zero or minimal service disruption for missioncritical workloads. Stakeholder & Client Management Engage directly with senior client stakeholders. Build strong executive relationships to align business objectives with transition outcomes. Manage multiple stakeholders including internal delivery teams, thirdparty vendors, incumbent providers, and partners. Risk, Compliance & Service Continuity Identify and manage transition risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID). Ensure compliance with ITIL, security, regulatory, and data protection standards. Oversee operational readiness, testing, cutover, and hypercare activities. Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness throughout transition. Team & Vendor Leadership People Counseling - Lead a team of transition resources Training & Development - Manage and drive trainings and upskilling of teams on new concepts/ technologies/ domains based on the business/ organizational requirements Lead large, crossfunctional and multivendor teams across infrastructure towers. Drive collaboration across internal delivery, architecture, security, service management, and client teams. Oversee vendor onboarding, offboarding, and performance during transition. Financial & Commercial Management Own transition budgets, financials, and profitability. Track and optimize transition costs, ensuring alignment with contracted commercials. Identify opportunities for value creation and additional services during transition. Leadership Skills Influence and maintain positive and healthy working relationship with support functions, Service delivery and senior Leadership, securing collaborative support in the execution of role responsibilities. Manages and counsel teams to excel in their roles. Client & Contract management Effectively collaborate with functional teams like HR, Recruitment, IT, Training etc. Program Management: Seamless transition with no noise while adhering to speed, cost and quality Project/ Program Management Office setup Use and integrate the mandatory NTT DATA program Control tools in the projects Required Experience & Qualifications 16+ years of overall IT experience. 10+ years in transition / transformation leadership roles. Proven experience managing largescale data centre or infrastructure transitions. Experience in vendortovendor transitions, complex multitower environments, and global programs. Strong background in infrastructure services, including data centres, networks, cloud, and security.
